I completed my PhD on precarity in Singapore historical fiction at the University of Leeds in 2017, after doing BA and MA courses at the University of York. At Leeds, I taught on the Writing Critically, Poetry, Postcolonial Literatureand Renaissance Literature modules, whilst mentoring students on the Students as Scholars programme.
At NTU, I am researching global cities from a world-literary perspective, and aim to undertake a project that uses distant reading methodology.
